আমিন শব্দের মানে কি ? কোথা থেকে এলো এই আমিন শব্দ ?

                     আমেন বা আমিন"

ইহুদী, খ্রীষ্টিয়ান ও ইসলাম ধর্মের মানুষেরা তারা তাদের প্রার্থনা বা মুনাযাত শেষ এই শব্দটা ব্যবহার করে থাকে। এই শব্দের অর্থ অনেকেই জানে আবার অনেকেই জানে না। যারা জানেন না এই পোষ্টটা  মূলত তাদের জন্য, আর যারা জানেন তাদের জন্যও অনেক নতুন বিষয় আছে।
আমেন বা আমিন যাই  বলি না কেন, প্রথমত এইটি বাংলা শব্দ নয়। "আমেন" শব্দটি হিব্রু শব্দ আর "আমিন" শব্দটি আরবীক শব্দ। এই দুটি শব্দের ইংরেজি ও বাংলা শব্দ অর্থ একই, ইংরেজিতে এর অর্থ "so be it" আর শুদ্ধ বাংলা অর্থ "তথাস্তু" আর সহজ বাংলায় "তাই হোক"।
এই তথ্য সবাই কমে বেশী জানে।

কিন্তু এই "AMEN" শব্দটি শুধুমাত্র ইহুদী বা আরবীয়রাই ব্যবহার করতো না প্রাচিন মিশরীয় ধর্মেও এর ব্যবহার ছিল। প্রাচীন মিশরীয় ধর্মে "Amun-Ra" বা "Amen-Ra" নামে এক দেবতা ছিলো।
এই দেবতা সম্পর্কে কিছু তথ্য কপি করে দিচ্ছিঃ
According to Funk and Wagnall's Standard College Dictionary, AMEN was the god of life and procreation in Egyptian mythology, and later identified with the SUN-god as the supreme deity and called "Amen-Ra".

"Amen was the personification of the hidden and unknown creative power which was associated with the primeval abyss, gods in the creation of the world, and all that is in it. The Egyptians, including the Alexandrians, had been worshipping, or been aquainted with, the head of the Egyptian pantheon, "Amen-Ra", the great Sun-deity (SUNday), for more than 1,000 years BC. Before he was known as Amen-Ra, he was known as Amen among the Thebans.
From old Egyptian texts we can see that people regarded the Sun as the emblem of the Creator. They called the Sun Ra, and all other gods and goddesses were forms of the Creator. One of these gods was Amen; a secret, hidden and mysterious god named variously Amen, Amon, Amun, Ammon and Amounra. For the first eleven dynasties (c. 3000-1987 B.C.) Amen was just a minor god, but by the 17th dynasty (c. 1500 B.C.) he had been elevated to be the national god of southern Egypt. This position gave Amen the attributes and characteristics of the most ancient gods, and his name became Amen-Ra, that is, a supreme form of God the Creator. By the 18th Dynasty (1539-1295 B.C.) a college had been established to study
Amen-Ra and as a focal point for worship.
The word or root amen, certainly means "what is hidden," "what is not seen," "what cannot be seen," and the like, and this fact is proved by scores of examples which may be collected from texts of all periods. In hymns to Amen, we often read that he is "hidden to his children, "and "hidden to gods and men" ... Now, not only is the god himself said to be "hidden," but his name also is "hidden," and his form, or similitude, is said to be "unknown;". These statements show that "hidden," when applied to Amen, the great god, has reference to something more than the "sun which has disappeared below the horizon," and that it indicates the god who cannot be seen with the mortal eyes, and who is invisible, as well as inscrutable, to gods as well as men."
মিশরীর এই দেবতাকে ১০০০বিসি তে "Thebes" শহরে সেই দেবতা শুধুমাত্র "AMEN" নামে পরিচিত ছিলো। যার অর্থ ছিল "what cannot be seen," বা "অদৃশ্য"

প্রাচীন মিশরীয় ধর্ম থেকে বের হয়ে এবার একটু বাইবেল থেকে দেখি "আমেন" আসলে কি বা কে"
প্রাকশীত বাক্য ৩ অধ্যায় ১৪ যদি দেখিঃ
"আর লায়দিকেয়াস্থ মন্ডলীর দূতকে লিখ-
যিনি #আমেন। যিনি বিশ্বাস্য ও সত্যময় সাক্ষী, যিনি ঈশ্বরের সৃষ্টির আদি, তিনি এই কথা কহেন।"
প্রাকশিতবাক্য থেকে আমরা বুঝতে পারি "আমেন" আর কেউ নয় তিনিই "যীশু খ্রীষ্ট"
যীশু খ্রীষ্টই "আমেন" আর এই কারনেই সকল খ্রীষ্টের অনুসারীরা তাদের প্রার্থনার শেষে "আমেন" বলে যীশু খ্রীষ্টকে সরন করে থাকে বা যীশু খ্রীষ্টের নামে তাদের প্রার্থনা ঈশ্বরের কাছে উপস্থাপন করে থেকে। এই কারনে যীশু বলে ছিলেন "আর তোমরা আমার নামে যাহা কিছু যাচ্ঞা করিবে, তাহা আমি সাধন করিব, যেন পিতা পুত্রে মহিমান্বিত হন।" যোহন ১৪ঃ১৩
যীশু তিনি তাঁর নামে চাইতে বলেছেন কারন তিনিই সেই "আমেন" যিনি সত্য, যিনি বিশ্বস্ত ও যিনি ঈশ্বরের সৃষ্টির আদি এবং যার দ্বারা সকলই সৃষ্টি।

এখন কথা হচ্ছে প্রাচীন মিশরের দেবতা "আমেন-রা" আর  যীশু খ্রীষ্ট কি একই??
নাহ, কখনই না...
কারন তারা যদি একই হতো তাহলে "আমেন-রা" এখন জীবিত থাকতো; কিন্তু কালের গহব্বরে মিশরের সেই দেবতা "আমেন-রা" হারিয়ে গেছে আর  যীশু খ্রীষ্ট এখনও নাকি  জীবিত।
